Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (“HKAM”) was established by the HKAM Ordinance (Cap 419) in 1993.  HKAM is an independent institution with statutory power to organize, monitor, assess and accredit all medical and dental specialist training in Hong Kong. It also provides and accredits continuing medical education and continuous professional development for the purpose of specialist registration.  HKAM is looking for candidate to fill the following post.
 

Analyst Programmer 

(Monthly Salary : MPS 9 – 15 // 17 ; $25,115 – $35,080 // 38,715)

Main Responsibilities:

• To perform in-house system development, implementation, maintenance, documentation for windows and web applications
• To conduct unit-test for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• To assist in overall system architecture design, and implementation of system development lifecycle
• To define API or database interfaces specification between external system
• To provide user and application support for various systems, standby during non-office hours required when necessary
• To collaborate with users to define and implement requirements to fulfil business needs
• To collaborate with team manager/members and vendor(s) on system development matters
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the Academy

Requirements:

• A degree or higher diploma in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in system development
• Strong knowledge in JavaScript, PHP, Python and SQL statement
• Knowledge in Node.js, React, CMS i.e. Drupal customisation will be an added advantage
• Familiar with Azure and AWS, certificates holder will be an advantage
• Familiar with SDLC and application development concepts
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and complete tasks on schedule
