This role is responsible for providing all IT services to a leading public corporation set up by the Hong Kong Government.

Your new role:

As the IT Service Manager, you will oversee IT service management processes, ensuring services meet SLA standards and minimising the impact of any incidents or problems on production systems.

General Operation Management

- Establish and manage support services for the platforms owned by the company.
- Ensure day-to-day IT operations follow best practices and meet operational KPIs.
- Manage the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and foster ITIL processes for all IT and outsourced team members.
- Ensure outsourcing procedures and documentation are up-to-date and follow company standards.
- Collaborate with various teams to deliver IT services and support.

Incident and Change Management

- Ensure outsourced providers track and properly record all incidents and problems.
- Enhance repeated incidents and operation tasks through automation.
- Communicate with application and infrastructure users when significant incidents impact IT-provided services.
- Timely escalate critical incidents to the management team.
- Act as Change Manager to manage all infrastructure changes, ensuring records are approved according to the ITIL process.
- Host Change Management meetings with outsourcing teams when needed.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or a technology-related discipline.
- Solid experience in providing total solutions and delivering quality service.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing the ITIL process or certified as an ITIL professional is a definite advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of data centre operations, networks, servers, storage, disaster recovery, and production operations support.
- Knowledge and experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) is a PLUS
