Assist in answering general enquiries on film submissions;
Sort and catalog all incoming publicity materials;
Assist in proofreading and fact-checking editorial copy, and enter film content to website;
Assist in the preparation of film subtitles;
Coordinate the set-up of exhibitions during the HKIFF period when needed;
Write and prepare social media posts on Q&A sessions during festival period;
Assist in the implementation of other logistical needs as required;
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management.
Requirements:
University graduate or equivalent;
At least 1 year relevant working experience;
Experience of working in film industry, cultural events, trade show or exhibition will be an advantage;
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills;
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and
Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.
This position is offered on temporary contract terms only.
