About the Client

The client is a well-respected global investment bank. We are seeking a highly accomplished and detail-oriented Project Management Professional to assume the role of APAC Operations Manager for OMR Decommissioning. This pivotal position requires an individual with a strong background in managing large-scale decommissioning projects and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Job Highlights

• Lead Complex Projects: Oversee the end-to-end decommissioning of OMR facilities, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage all phases of decommissioning projects, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Conduct regular project reviews and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Facilitate effective communication and information flow among project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor project progress and performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and proactively address any compliance issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on decommissioning, operations, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel within the APAC region as required.
