About the Role

Reporting to the Reward Manager, Asia Pacific, the incumbent is responsible for managing annual exercises and other projects related to Reward and People Management across the Asia Pacific region. This role will also review and support market reward and payroll activities, including, but not limited to, reviewing policies and procedures, compensation and benefits framework, and cross-market mobility and payroll checking.


Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and roll out annual reward exercises across Asia Pacific, including, but not limited to, Annual salary reviews, Global and local bonus plans, Performance and Development Reviews, and Market Compensation and benefit benchmarking exercises. Work closely with market People Managers to achieve set timelines and objectives, analyse feedback data, and prepare executive summaries.
  • Oversee payroll process and perform payroll checking for selected local markets to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and contributions.
  • Support the Senior Reward Manager in managing and reviewing reward packages for regional and market management teams on new hires, salary review and internal mobility, and prepare relevant documents.
  • Support the Senior Reward Manager in reviewing regional and market people policy and procedures and updating them as necessary to fulfill business needs.
  • Maintain effective communication and provide support to APAC markets on all reward-related matters.
  • Support and handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Reward Manager, Asia Pacific.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or any related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years' reward management experience in sizable corporations.
  • Asia Pacific regional exposure is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of labour and tax regulations in two or more Asia Pacific markets (i.e., Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia) is highly preferred
  • Energetic, proactive, meticulous, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical skills and numerical sense.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, fluency in another Asian language is highly preferred
