About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Design Manager who will also serve as a Deputy Project Manager for two exciting projects: a High-end hotel renovation and a Celebrity restaurant and bar fit-out . This dual role requires a professional with a strong background in design management and project coordination, capable of overseeing the creative aspects of the projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design Management:

• Lead and coordinate the design process for the hotel renovation and restaurant/bar fit-out.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and consultants to ensure design integrity and alignment with project goals.
• Ensure all design documentation is complete, accurate, and adheres to relevant regulations and standards.
• Facilitate stakeholder approvals and resolve design-related challenges during all project stages.

Deputy Project Management:

• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of both projects.
• Assist in developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in design management, particularly in hospitality projects (hotels, restaurants, bars).
• Demonstrated experience in project management or acting as a deputy project manager.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
