Your new company

Our client has recently expanded rapidly in the Asia Pacific market through multiple sales channels. They are currently looking for an Internal Control expert to join the team and report to the C-suite directly.

Your new role

• Establish and enforce policies and procedures specific to a full cycle business model, such as retail operations, distributorship, and 3PL logistics.
• Identify and assess risks related to inventory management, supply chain disruptions, and retail operations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, focusing on retail sales, distribution channels, and third-party logistics compliance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, retail standards, and contractual obligations with distributors and 3PL providers.
• Recommend and implement improvements to internal processes, particularly in inventory control, order fulfilment, and logistics management.
• Provide training and guidance to retail staff, distributors, and logistics partners on internal control standards and procedures.
• Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness of internal controls, highlighting areas of improvement in retail operations, distribution, and logistics.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of experience. Experience from the Big 4 is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
