We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing & Communications Officer to join our professional team at Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East. In this role, you will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our hotel's brand, drive revenue, and boost customer engagement. Your contributions will be essential in shaping our marketing communications within a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic marketing communications plan that aligns with the hotel’s objectives to enhance overall performance
• Work closely with teams (Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events, Sales, Revenue Management) to create effective marketing promotions
• Assist in managing the hotel's brand positioning and image, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, bloggers, influencers, and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and generate positive publicity
• Update and maintain the media database, conduct proactive and reactive pitches, and stay informed about industry trends
• Analyze customer feedback and reviews to identify improvement areas, implementing changes to enhance satisfaction
• Plan and execute online campaigns, eShop, eDM, and joint promotions, coordinating marketing events with third parties
• Assist in managing hotel digital marketing channels including social media platforms and online reviews
• Create and proofread high-quality promotional materials such as press releases, brochures, and collateral in English and Chinese

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Public Relations / Hotel & Catering Management or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in hospitality industry
• Strong sales-driven mindset combined with creativity and business acumen
• Proficiency in marketing automation tools, digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and data-driven decision making.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing campaigns
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Knowledge of photography, video editing, Photoshop, and platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Weibo, and Snapchat is advantageous
• Excellent spoken, written and reading ability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Assist in managing hotel digital marketing channels including social media platforms and online reviews
• Create and proofread high-quality promotional materials such as press releases, brochures, and collateral in English and Chinese
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager
