Founded in 2011, Teen’s Key Hong Kong is a registered non-profit organization committed to helping vulnerable young women in Hong Kong. We focus on addressing their sexual and reproductive health and rights. We provide a safe space where they can realize their potential and find new hope.
The Communication and Development Officer will implement the organization’s communication and development strategy. He/ she will also assist with the logistics and administration of grants and sponsorships and develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Executive Director, advisory committee, and frontline team to implement a communication and resource development strategy for individual donors, corporate collaboration, and events.
  • Manage existing major donors’ relationships, provide timely responses, and regulate updates.
  • Manage social media platforms, including Linkedin and Instagram, and maintain website updates.
  • Build trust relationships with donors and partners, and communicate the organizational impacts to donors.
  • Represent the organization at conferences and events, to help the organization build new connections.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably majoring in communication/sales & marketing/social sciences or other related fields, with at least 3 years of working experience.
  • Proven experience in communication, partnership development, and fundraising within the Non-profit sector.
  • Strong trust relationship building, project management, and multistakeholder communications.
  • Passionate about women’s rights, youth development, and helping the underprivileged in Hong Kong.
  • Organized, detail-orientated, and sophisticated in communications and negotiations.
  • Able to work via Canva
  • Flexible, adaptable, strong team player.
  • Native fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is essential.
