About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team, specializing in the sale of high-quality imported food products primarily to Western restaurants, hotels, and private clubs in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food sales, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships while driving sales growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including chefs, procurement managers, and F&B directors, of the clients.
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide after-sales support, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness.

 

Requirements:  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food sales, preferably with a focus on imported or premium food products.
  • Proven track record of selling to high-end restaurants, hotels, catering and private clubs in Hong Kong.
  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food trends, sourcing practices, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to attend client meetings, industry events, or trade shows outside of regular business hours.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Existing network of contacts within the Hong Kong hospitality industry.
  • Experience in managing key accounts and achieving long-term customer loyalty.
  • Passion for food and a strong understanding of international cuisines.
