Asia Pacific Adventure (APA) has been organizing and delivering memorable youth outdoor adventure programs for over 20 years. We specialize in creative, customized programs designed to meet the specific outcomes for each organization-based on a school’s curriculum or simply providing an opportunity to widen horizons and offer valuable life experiences. More than 30,000 students have been on APA programs with numbers growing every year. Our clients include over 40 prominent international schools and youth organizations throughout the region.

We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join our team and take our organization to the next level. If you are interested in working for the outdoor adventure industry, then this may be it!

 

Job Description and Responsibility

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Provide administrative support to Team Manager
  • Liaise with relevant departments to execute transactions
  • Support on client servicing including contracting and tender documentation processes
  • Maintain and develop existing and new clients
  • Attend sales meeting including location site visit (including campsite and country parks .etc) and presentations at client’s work place
  • Responsible for full sales cycle from initial enquiry to post outdoor adventure program follow up meeting with client
  • Design and develop proposals for outdoor adventure programs
  • Ready to be out on outdoor adventure program to observe and support if necessary (might need to be involved in activities such as hiking, water activities .etc)
  • Perform marketing research and support development of new product
  • Support in marketing including maintain regular social media platform updates 


 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in client services role (such as event management, business development, marketing, public relations .etc)
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Mandarin is an advantage
  • Good computer skills in MacOS & Google Suite (Google Sheet, Google Doc)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Team player with pleasant personality, helpful, willing to learn and proactive working attitude
  • Well-organised and detail-orientated
  • Capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, responsive and able to work outside of working hours when required
  • Willing to travel is an advantage
  • Must be willing to work outdoor (participate in hiking, water activities etc)
  • Good knowledge in IB syllabus as well as experience with International School is advantageous
  • Passion for outdoor activities and exposure to outdoor adventure is preferable
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Client Service Officer or Assistant Client Relationship Manager
