Requirements:

• The applicant should be a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence
  
• A bachelor's degree in English Language or related disciplines from a Hong Kong university or equivalent
  
• A recognised teacher training qualification in secondary education
  
• Post-graduate Diploma in Education or equivalent
  
• A Teaching of English as a Foreign Language or a Second Language (TEFL / TESL) qualification at least at certificate level, or an equivalent course of study recognised by the EDB
  
• At least 1 year's post-graduate experience of teaching English (preferably as a second or foreign language) at secondary level or above
  
• Knowledge and skills in public speaking preferred
  
• Pass in Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) scheme

Job Duties:

• Teach English as a second language
  
• Develop teaching and learning materials for English classes
  
• Organize English related activities
  
• Promote an English-rich environment
  
• Experience in teaching English Literature and Language arts is preferred
