Senior Underwriting Manager/ Director (Retail / HNW Health & Life)

Location: Hong Kong

Your Roles:

• Must have Retail/ HNW Life and Health products pricing and underwriting experience
• Develop underwriting processes and procedures in comply with regulatory requirements
• Assist direct manager in various projects
• Review and revise internal underwriting manual, guidelines and practices
• Participate in development, maintenance and enhancement of workflow system including the UAT, arranging implementation, etc.
• Provide underwriting service and support to distribution channels, branches and internal departments
• Share insights on underwriting process, procedures in order to improve efficiency and quality of underwriting operation
• Participate in ad hoc assignment and underwriting training for internal stakeholders as well as frontline staff

Your requirements:

• University graduate with min. 5 years solid experience in life underwriting (High Net Worth & non-High Net Worth market)
• Candidates without High Net Worth underwriting background will also be considered
• Professional qualifications will be an advantage
• Independent, team player and has a sense of strong job commitment
• Proficiency in written communications and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin required)
