Reporting to the Manager (Clinical and Research Operations), the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in logistics and operations related to patient recruitment for the Hong Kong Genome Project (HKGP) and other research initiatives
  • Serve as one of the contact for partnering centres and patients, providing information about research projects, eligibility criteria, and enrolment procedures
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of recruitment progress and patient interactions
  • Assist in organising promotional events, educational activities, and awareness campaigns to boost recruitment and community engagement
  • Draft high-quality presentations and materials for internal briefings, public outreach, and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to research activities as needed, including data entry, literature searches, and document preparation
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the team
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers


Requirements

We are seeking a high-calibre candidate for the post of Officer (Operational Support) who possesses:

  • A bachelor's degree in public health, life sciences, communications, marketing or a related discipline
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in project coordination, marketing, communications, or public engagement, preferably from clinical research, life sciences, or healthcare environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse stakeholders and craft effective presentations (Cantonese fluency is required; strong English writing skills are an advantage)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy, particularly in telephone interactions
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint; hands-on experience with graphic design tools and media creation software is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Experience in managing social media platforms by applying digital marketing techniques is an advantage

Remuneration

Successful candidate will be offered attractive remuneration and be appointed on an initial two-year contract (subject to mutual agreement for contract renewal).
