We are seeking a seasoned Project Management Professional to lead the Actuarial Modelling Transformation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in managing large-scale transformation projects within actuarial and financial domains.
Job Highlights
Oversee the transformation of actuarial modelling processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation roadmap aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Engage with key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and successful adoption of new modelling frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of actuarial modelling transformation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management strategies.
Conduct regular project reviews to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize project outcomes.
Facilitate transparent communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new modelling processes and systems.
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Proactively address any compliance issues that arise.
Identify, assess, and manage project Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID).
Maintain and update RAID logs for stakeholder awareness.
Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of new modelling practices.
Provide training and support to equip teams for effective use of transformed models.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Implement best practices and lessons learned from past projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Project Management, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
8-10 years of project management experience, with a focus on actuarial modelling transformation or large-scale financial projects.
Proven track record in managing complex projects within the insurance or financial services industry.
PMP certification is highly desirable; actuarial certifications (e.g., FSA, ASA) are a plus.
Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Strong understanding of actuarial modelling principles.
