My client is a well establish Chinese investment bank and they are urgently looking for a MD/ED level in ECM based in Hong Kong

Job responsibilities includes;

• Dual reporting line to Head of ECM and Head of Investment banking
• Originate, structure and execute ECM transactions including IPO underwriting, shares placements, right issues and equity linked products
• Formulate strategies and plans for ECM activities
• Develop and strengthen institutional and corporate clients networks
• Explore and liaise directly with investors, especially with Chinese Investors e.g. fund managers, institutional, corporate & private investors.
• Build and maintain good relationships with investors on an on-going basis

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics or relevant disciplines or above
• Professional qualifications, e.g. CFA/ CPA are advantageous
• Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in capital markets
• Experience in ECM origination and obtain strong relationships with Chinese Investors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua. Native in Putonghua is preferred.
