We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for one of our clients. Your job scope is as follows:

Responsibilities

Dashboard Development:

• Design and develop visually compelling and interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
• Ensure dashboards provide actionable insights to stakeholders in underwriting, claims, risk management, and other departments.

Data Management:

• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, cloud platforms).
• Collaborate with data engineers to maintain the integrity and accuracy of data pipelines feeding Tableau.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionality and best practices.

Performance Optimization:

• Optimize dashboard performance, ensuring efficient query execution and data retrieval.
• Regularly review and refine Tableau solutions for scalability and usability.

Documentation and Maintenance:

• Document development processes, data sources, and dashboard functionalities.
• Ensure Tableau solutions comply with company data governance and security policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar BI role.
• Experience in the insurance industry or financial services is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, or Snowflake).
• Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL processes.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
