Job Title: Profile Building Consultant (Global Admissions)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Profile-Building Consultant to guide students in developing strong, well-rounded profiles for university applications. This role involves strategizing personalized academic, extracurricular, and leadership initiatives, collaborating with schools and education service providers, and ensuring students align their experiences with their career aspirations. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly communicative, and well-versed in international admissions. They will work closely with students and families to curate impactful projects, research opportunities, and social initiatives that enhance university applications while driving engagement and growth .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalized Mentoring:
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring to students, understanding their strengths, goals, and aspirations.
  • Develop customized mentoring plans tailored to each student's unique profile and target universities, including US Ivy League and UK Russell Group institutions.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with students to identify and align extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and passion projects with their long-term academic and career goals.
  • Develop strategic plans that enhance students' profiles and showcase their potential to admissions committees.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Application Support team to ensure alignment between the student's profile and application materials (personal statements, essays, resumes).
  • Collaborate with the University and Course Selection team to provide insights into the student's profile and recommend suitable institutions.
  • Partner with the Scholarship and Financial Aid team to leverage the student's profile strengths in scholarship applications.



  • Profile Development Expertise:
  • Educate students on the importance of holistic admissions and the key components of a strong profile (academic excellence, extracurricular depth, leadership, passion projects, community service, global exposure).
  • Help students articulate their personal stories and unique narratives.
  • Ensure students demonstrate long-term commitment and passion in their chosen activities.
  • Progress Tracking and Feedback:
  • Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback on their profile development.
  • Adjust mentoring plans as needed to ensure students remain on track to achieve their goals.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress.
  • Staying Current:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and changes in US and UK university admissions policies and practices.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of extracurricular opportunities, leadership programs, and global exposure options.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in educational consulting, admissions counseling, or related fields. Freshers with relevant degrees will receive comprehensive training.
  • In-depth knowledge of US and UK university admissions processes, particularly for top-tier institutions.
  • Strong understanding of holistic admissions and the importance of extracurricular involvement, leadership, and personal qualities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills, including prompt response to client queries.
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Experience in career counseling is a plus.
