RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and implement a project on enhancing inclusive practices for early childhood educators through professional development and built environment enhancement;
- Explore and recommend tools and resources in enhancing SEN support for pre-schools;
- Solicit qualified trainers to conduct professional development and coaching programmes;
- Monitoring project expenditures and managing project resources;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the Salvation Army, funding parties and other governing bodies;
- Coordinating schools in enhancing school environment to facilitate multi-sensory learning;
- Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the superior(s).
REQUIREMENTS
- An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army;
- Bachelor degree in Education, Social Science, Counselling or other related disciplines;
- Completion of a course of training in special education or prior relevant experience in SEN education is preferred;
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in pre-school or school setting;
- Proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese;
- Proficiency in project management and budget management;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and motivate project teams;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to proactively address challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
