Responsibilities

  • Oversee designated work contracts, ensuring that the associated design and construction are delivered with a high standard of safety, quality, cost and time adherence, while complying with corporate and statutory requirements and specifications
  • Lead the team in managing assigned work contracts to ensure the implementation of the optimal construction methods and focusing on the timely and efficient delivery of project milestones and objectives
  • Lead the interfacing activities of various disciplines to achieve multi-disciplinary project milestones, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of objectives
  • Manage contractors and foster the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including relevant Government Departments, community stakeholders, professional institutions, District Council, etc., to proactively manage the potential risks areas
  • Oversee and ensure that the Construction Management teams are equipped with the appropriate level of capable resources to effectively support project delivery
  • Foster an environment to adopt New Engineering Contract (NEC), Building Information Modelling (BIM), Common Data Environment (CDE), and other relevant systems and/or smart technologies as appropriate to enhance communication, site supervision and project management efficiency
  • Facilitate public engagement and consultation activities while participating in addressing public concerns related to responsible works contracts
  • Lead and build a high-performing Construction Management team, develop and implement strategies for upskilling and capability enhancement within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements 

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in project and construction management for large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, of which 6 years should be at managerial level
  • Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution
  • Experience in NEC and using related software / digital platforms such as CDE and BIM

Remarks 

  • Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
