An Investment Bank is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee and manage our operations department.

Your new role

• Develop and implement the operational strategy in alignment with the bank's overall business goals.

• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and support business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners and regulatory bodies.
• Manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a must
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 10 years in a senior management role.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking industry.
• Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
