For one of our clients, we are looking for a Product Owner - Insurance (Fully Remote), remotely from Hong Kong.

In this role, you will play a key part in the evolution of a core health insurance system, focusing on the policy servicing module. You will be the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that requirements are well-defined, priorities are aligned, and product features are delivered to meet the demands of the health insurance industry. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking, user-centric design, and technical depth in a remote, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Act as the liaison between stakeholders and remote development teams, facilitating clear communication and ensuring smooth delivery of product features.
  • Guide product development through Agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health insurance regulations and stay informed about industry standards.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure the product’s success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Lead the product roadmap for the policy servicing module, balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, with 3+ years focused on insurtech or health insurance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of health insurance products, policy servicing, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end product development in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
