Location: Causeway Bay

What this job involves:

  • Oversee service delivery, implement building procedures, manage materials, coordinate projects, conduct inspections, manage preventive maintenance, provide 24/7 emergency support and implement best practices
  • Ensure critical environment requirements are met, and reactive maintenance is completed within agreed timeframes
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and policies, implement risk management programs, maintain disaster recovery plans, and establish escalation procedures
  • Foster a positive team environment, mentor team members, coordinate training, conduct performance reviews, and set SMART goals
  • Proactively engage stakeholders, build strong relationships, serve as the on-site facilities contact, and ensure high levels of engagement and customer satisfaction
  • Manage vendors, ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, and develop collaborative partnerships
  • Plan and manage contracts, monitor expirations, and initiate re-procurement when needed
  • Ensure sound financial operations, adhere to ethical standards, and assist with budget preparation and reporting
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Manage GUTS requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to contract requirements, administer changes to the GUTS portal and ensure KPI targets are met
  • Manage the Event Management System (GEMS), coordinate event logistics, administer meeting rooms and provide reception cover as needed
  • Develop and implement cost-saving and service improvement strategies

 

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Building Engineering, other related field
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities, property management, or hospitality is preferred
  • Experience working in Information Technology or BPO environment
  • Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands
  • Ability to lead team effectively, train them well and promote open, constructive and collaborative relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience with tendering and service improvement initiatives is required
  • Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities and vendor management for specialized services
  • Basic understanding of technical aspects of property, including computer room air-conditioning, chiller system, fire protection system, mechanical & electrical system & BMS system)
  • Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
  • Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
  • Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight timelines
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives, client reporting and preparation of reports
