Client Details

Our client is a market leader in the property sector, they are looking for a Legal Counsel who will provide expert legal support for mergers and acquisitions, as well as general commercial matters. This role involves advising on legal risks, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Description

  • Provide legal advice and support for M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and negotiation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, partnership agreements, and service agreements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business strategies and operations.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the business.
  • Manage external legal counsel as needed, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal compliance and best practices.

Profile

  • Qualified lawyer of HK with 5-7 PQE from reputable law firms
  • Solid experience M&A and corporate commercial work, preferably in an in-house setting
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
