Working in the cultural sector. They are now looking for new candidates that could support their research team’s further operations.

Responsibilities

• To assist in conducting scientific research and studies on museum collections, heritage and conservation materials, preservation and conservation methodologies, environment in museums and collection stores
• To assist in conducting research for exhibitions and condition checking on the exhibits in the exhibition halls and or in collection stores
• To provide research and conservation services as required and prepare the associated reports
• To assist with the organization of education and extension programmers

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from a University in Hong Kong, or equivalent. Majoring in History, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Education, Media Communication or related field.
• At least 12 moths of full-time internship / work experience, preferably in research and development or laboratory environment
• Possess a good command of both Chinese and English and met the language proficiency requirement of “Level 2” result in Use of English and “Level 1“in Use of Chinese in CRE or equivalent results
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS word, excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing
