About the role

This is a full-time Service Engineer (Medical Equipment) role working for Getinge Group Hong Kong Limited, a leading provider of medical equipment and solutions. 

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Getinge's medical equipment, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting routine preventative maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with medical devices, and performing necessary repairs in a timely manner
• Providing on-site and remote technical support to customers, educating them on the proper use and care of their equipment
• Maintaining detailed records of all service activities, spare parts usage, and customer interactions
• Collaborating with the sales and product management teams to provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, regulations, and industry best practices in medical equipment servicing

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Biomed Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the servicing and maintenance of medical equipment or similar industrial/commercial machinery
• Technical experience in ICU or OT equipment will be a strong advantage
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and specifications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support our customers
• Fluency in English and Cantonese
• Immediately available will be an advantage;

      Candidates who possess any of the following requirements, even with lower academic qualifications, will also be considered:

• Working experience in building service/ boiler industry
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License Grade A
• Holder of Pressure Vessel Operator License class III and/or Class VI
