Senior Manager/ Manager, Accounting and Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • As an essential pillar of our small accounting and finance professional team, you are expected to rotate gradually over different essential financial accounting and management accounting duties including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, month end closing review, group consolidation, cash management, management reporting for decision-making, risk assessment, measurement and performance monitoring, financial modeling and evaluations on potential deals etc. This will give you an exposure to full spectrum of the Group’s accounting & finance activities. 
  • Shortly after your on-boarding, you will actively participate and add value in our recent new initiatives of SOP and process revamp, and implementing various automation tools & technology to streamline accounting processes with a focus to improve operational efficiency, costs and internal controls.
  • Assist handling business relations with banks and communicate with bankers or other external professionals for financing or investment opportunities
  • Work closely with Head of Accounting and Finance to develop and maintain financial reports , budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting and financial operations in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 10years working experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role with exposure in Property Development / Listed & Private equities / Big 4 audit/ family-owned business culture will be an advantage.
  • Proven track records in accounting process re-engineering and automation, with a focus on improving efficiency and control.
  • Versatile and ideally with extensive exposure and hands-on experience at financial accounting, cash management, FP&A, budgeting and tax planning.
  • Hand-on experience in e-banking and accounting software. Knowledge of FLEX accounting system and system upgrade experience is highly preferable. 
  • Highly organized, hands-on and multi-tasking. Able to work under pressure and capable of thriving in an ever-changing environment.
  • Meticulous with strong compliance sense to ensure accounting and financial procedures are properly executed
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and external parties Good people skills to promote collaboration, growth and excellence in the organization, while act assertively and maintain professional independence.
