Position summary

The Senior CSR Compliance Specialist is a key role responsible for ensuring that our suppliers adhere to Lacoste’s social compliance standards and practices. This position involves reviewing and approving social compliance reports, corrective actions, and providing essential guidance to suppliers on compliance requirements and processes.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Compliance Review: Evaluate and approve social compliance reports and corrective actions from suppliers, effectively communicating results and expectations.
  • Guidance and Support: Offer expert guidance to suppliers regarding Lacoste’s compliance requirements, ensuring understanding and adherence to standards.
  • Data Monitoring: Analyze and monitor data related to compliance and traceability, assessing the effectiveness of corrective action plans (CAP) and ongoing compliance with CSR standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Joint Ventures (JV) and Licensee offices to promote factory social compliance initiatives.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about industry standards and regulatory changes to ensure compliance practices remain current and effective.
  • Vendor Management: Support administrative tasks related to vendor management, including onboarding processes.
  • Project Support: Contribute to data collection for social compliance and environmental projects within the supply chain, and manage the Waste Management Program for the Hong Kong office.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with various projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team goals.

Job requirements

  • Degree holder in social compliance related, sustainability and compliance, business administration or other relevant disciplines
  • At least 4 years working experience in responsible sourcing, including social compliance across China and/or Southeast Asia, preferably in apparel industry
  • Extensive knowledge of social compliance standards (e.g. ICS, WRAP, amfori BSCI, SMETA, WCA, SLCP, Bluesign, etc.), with on-site audit experience is a plus
  • Detail-minded, excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with critical thinking.
  • Good communication skills and collaboration abilities to work in a cross-cultural environment
  • Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivated
  • Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  • Good command of Microsoft Office Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willing to travel as required
