As a Supply Chain COE, the Senior Manager will lead the Digital Supply Chain topics within Group Digital. The role works closely with the other stakeholders within Group Digital, Group Supply Chain as well as the Formats and Banners to drive design and execution of digital supply chain capabilities and performance.

The challenge is to:

  • Enhance the digital supply chain operations, owning key performance metrics across the group, including but not limited to (a) Net Promoter Score NPS, (b) Perfect Order Rates and (c) Digital supply chain per order unit economics
  • Managing project delivery of new digital supply chain capabilities
  • Leading the project team and managing internal and external resources.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve systems and procedures to maximise team efficiencies.
  • Lead the Optimization of design and process efficiency of product movement and storage systems enhancing productivity by improving operations, minimizing costs and managing staff.
  • Fulfill service location operational objectives by re-engineering processes to achieve optimum throughput as desired by the format/banner
  • Oversee the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies capturing the most efficient and optimized methods and means in all aspects of work including Safety and Health measures
  • Enhance the Manpower Productivity optimisation by conducting time motion studies supported by practical measurements from initial operations

Do you have experience in E-commerce Supply Chain?

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is typically required. Proven experience in digital strategy development, e-commerce, and retail operations is essential. Previous experience in a management role within the retail or digital commerce industry is highly desirable.
  • Supply Chain experience: Supply Chain expert with proven industry experience in logistics within the digital commerce function/industry. Thorough understanding of supply chain topics impacting customer lead time and supply chain experiences.
  • Retail Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the retail / FMCG industry, including consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscape. Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities of the retail sector in the digital age. Prior experience doing offline store supply chain digitalisation will be a significant plus
  • Digital Skills: Strong understanding of digital technologies, e-commerce platforms, and omnichannel retailing. Familiarity with data analytics, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Business Acumen: Excellent business acumen with the ability to understand the retail group's goals, strategies and financial metrics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and drive business growth. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve digital transformation objectives.
  • Change Management: Ability to lead and inspire teams through digital transformation initiatives. Change management expertise to facilitate organizational change and ensure successful adoption of digital strategies.
  • Travel: Travel (>25%) is expected to support the Group’s projects across our DFI footprint
  • Language: Proficiency in English. Ideal to have additional language skills relevant to our operating markets (Chinese, Cantonese, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese if possible)
