Job Summary

Provide independent assessment of the adequacy of internal control systems in covering the following areas:

• Review IT systems to assess adequacy and effectiveness of system securities to prevent and detect cyber threats
• Review IT governance and perform technical assessments
• Provide recommendation on IT management and security
• Review Technology and Operations functions (e.g. E-banking, Technology Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning and Cybersecurity projects)

 

Responsibilities

1. Take lead to conduct IT audit assignment including planning, preparing and presenting audit report
2. Perform follow-up review, tracking and validation of recommendation
3. Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls on an ongoing basis
4. Provide consultancy advice on IT management and security
5. Communicate audit and assessment results and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders
6. Keep abreast of latest legislative requirement, best practise and trends in information security risk
7. Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Department Head

 

Requirements

1. University graduate in accounting, information technology or related disciplines
2. Professional qualification in a IT audit / security (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP)
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information technology auditing or security, preferably in banking and regulatory environment
4. Familiar with relevant local regulatory requirements, standards and market practices in Hong Kong
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently
6. Excellent analytical, communication and report writing skills
7. Knowledge of cloud platform such as AWS or Azure will be an advantage
