The Job

  • Clear day to day AML transaction monitoring (TM) alerts

  • Work with Senior Director of Financial Crime Compliance in tuning the threshold of the TM rules by analyzing the data generated from operating system and applicable regulatory requirements

  • Perform ad hoc name screening on any significant watch lists

  • Provide advice to internal stakeholder on any name screening issues and help revolve the name screening alerts by 2 factors discount rule.

  • Provide cover and support to other teammates

  • Any ad hoc assignments or tasks that may delegated from time to time

  • Ensure sound advisory and service delivery in compliance with regulations and FWD policies

  • Act as a contact point with internal stakeholders on name screening and transaction monitoring alerts.

The Person

  • Bachelor Degree in law, accounting or business

  • At least 2 years of compliance related working experience in financial institutions in Hong Kong

  • Relevant experience in handling name screening and transaction monitoring alerts in insurance industry

  • Familiar with operation process and applicable AML regulatory requirements of name screening and TM

  • Fluent in written and spoken English & Cantonese

  • Hard working and strong research skills

  • Familiar with excel on data analytics

  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet all deadline

  • Less qualified candidates may be considered as Officer level.
