We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success in the industry.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products received meet the company’s quality standards and are compliant with the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) process. This role plays a key part in identifying and resolving quality issues and contributing to the improvement of warehouse and product quality processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Incoming Product Inspection

  • Perform detailed incoming inspections of all products to ensure compliance with the company’s IQC process and quality standards.
  • Document and report any non-conformance found during inspections.

Non-Conformance Reporting and Testing

  • Generate non-conformance reports (NCR) for any quality issues identified during product inspections.
  • Setup and conduct product testing to assess compliance with customer and industry requirements.

Collaboration and Issue Resolution

  • Work closely with other teams (such as warehouse, suppliers, and logistics) to resolve quality-related issues, including product defects and shipment delays.
  • Collaborate with the QC Manager and other departments to drive continuous process improvement.

Supplier and Quality Issue Management

  • Resolve supplier-related quality control issues, including product defects and delays in shipments.
  • Monitor and address issues related to counterfeit detection and product integrity.

Continuous Process Improvement

  • Actively participate in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives to enhance product quality and streamline operations.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve overall quality inspection processes and results.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform any ad-hoc warehouse activities or tasks assigned by the QC Supervisor.

REQUIREMENT(S)

  • A Diploma in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Prior experience in electronics component testing or knowledge in quality management systems such as ISO9001, ESD audits, 5S, and counterfeit detection.
  • Certification in IDEA-ICE-3000 or other relevant quality control certifications is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in email communication and basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
