Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Variation Margin (VM) and Initial Margin (IM) margin handling with counterparties, monitor collateral settlement status, dispute management and reviewing CM terms in CSA & GMRA.
• To carry out daily operations functions covering Bonds, Repo, FX, OTC Options, Funds, TRS, Portfolio Swap and Structured Products etc.
• Familiar with Collateral Management.
• Ensure all tasks are complied with regulatory rules and requirements.
• Able to liaise with business units and counterparties for any settlement and operational matters.
• Review operations procedures to enhance operating efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Participate in system review and enhancement projects.
• Prepare different management reports.
• Assist in ad-hoc project(s) when assigned.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related discipline.
• 3 years of experience in the operations and settlement of Bonds, Repo, FX, OTC Options, Funds, TRS, Portfolio Swap and Structured Products etc. (Candidate with less experience will be considered for one year contract role).
• Familiar with settlement system such as Euroclear, Clearstream and CMU etc.
• Experience in handling IM/VM margin calls.
• Familiar with SFC regulatory requirements and compliance. Knowledge in HKTR is preferred.
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency of Putonghua).
• Strong commitment, drive, willingness to learn, strong analytical, numerical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in using Python, VBA, SQL will be an advantage.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for one year contract.
