Edelman, SHI and Edco Group – one of the leading importer of FMCG  in Europe with a large range of customers, from DIY, Garden Centers, retailers, - we are expanding our team in HongKong and are now seeking a high caliber candidate for the following position:

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in close cooperation with the Product Manager (PM) and the Team Leader on Christmas trees & lighting.

• Follow up the developments, from first stage till market.

• Negotiate lead-time, prices, payment terms, secure production capacity and exclusivity

• Maintain relationship with vendors and check with production capacity

• Follow-up production

• Analyse inspection reports and provide feedback to PM on issues

• Release Inspection Certificate after approval from PM is obtained (when it is needed)

• Maintain filing and documentation systematically

• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years’ merchandising experience in Christmas Tree 

• A motivated, stable, and responsible individual who thrives in a small team and can work independently.

• A strong sourcing background, in China and beyond 

• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.

• Immediate availability is preferable
