Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supply chain management, including supplier sourcing, cost and price negotiations, handling quotations, samples, and goods production;
  • Responsible for calculating price breakdown, price control, price and order quantity negotiation with suppliers;
  • Support the liaison with European buyers to understand their market trends in order to source for different garment products;
  • Work together with R&D Team to keep European buyers and designers updated about market information by supporting or undertaking active Research & Development with the market trend, new styles, and collections, maintain close communication with suppliers, frequent visits to suppliers' showroom & keep track of any innovations from the suppliers;
  • Identifying potential quality and quantity issues before submitting fabric to buyers & check and approve proto and designer samples before sending to them;
  • Follow up closely on the development & production schedule and ensure timely delivery;
  • Build up and maintain a good relationship with key suppliers to improve supply chain efficiently including greater flexibility, shorter lead times, re-engineering, and margin improvements;
  • Coordinate closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the production order quality is up to the required standard.

Requirements

  • College or University graduates, preferably in textile & clothing-related disciplines;
  • Minimum 3 years or above relevant experience in Woven products
  • Strong fashion sense and creative mindset;
  • Good communication skill, initiative, well-organized and attention to details;
  • Experience in order follow up ranged from sample development to bulk production;
  • Experience working with European markets and have off-shore exposure;
  • Ability to resolve sample development and production problems;
  • Energetic and able to work independently;
  • Proficiency in MS Office such as Excel, Word, and Outlook Express;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin)
