JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a Senior Quality Officer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the quality management system and technical compliance checklist for the Facilities Development Department (FDD).

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain the quality management system and technical compliance checklist to ensure that the works and facilities operation in the schools fully comply with statutory requirements, code of practices, relevant standards and technical specifications.
  • Establish and maintain a statistical database to analyse and review the trends and causes of any non-conformance across the department and prepare reports with improvement recommendations.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits in various teams of FDD, including capital projects, facilities maintenance & management and health, safety & sustainability.
  • Conduct onsite inspections / investigations and recommend action plan for improvement.
  • Deliver training and provide value-added tools and knowledge to internal staff and external vendors.
  • Provide support to ESF, FDD and schools on quality systems and related matters.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality processes, including reviewing and updating guidelines, operation manuals, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and standard procedures.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the management

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, construction, engineering or relevant technical subject

Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant Post-Graduate experience.

  • Strong communication skills and excellence command of both written & spoken English and Chinese (desirable)

  • Excellent organisational skills

Knowledge:

  • Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
