DFI Team Brief
The selected candidate will be part of the Enterprise Architecture Team, reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Lead. He/she will lead technology innovations, architecture, standards, and governance across the group focusing on digital transformation. The Enterprise Architecture team is part of the Center of Excellence for DFI Retail Group, reporting to the Group Chief Information and Technology Officer.
Job Description
DFI Information Technology is seeking a qualified Solution Architect (SA) with experience in conceptualizing and crafting architectural design for retail, loyalty and integration solutions. The SA must acquire high proficiency and be well-versed in handling various stakeholders to align and enable the balance between solutions, business strategy, objectives, requirements and enterprise architecture standards & governance.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand overall transformation strategy, objective and approach.
Discover, analyze and document the existing (as-is) systems landscape and integration architecture.
Analyze, design, document and review the target (to-be) solution & integration architecture with internal development & support teams and vendors.
Define, review and endorse on architecture and integration blueprint.
Identify, review and recommend technologies, solutions, products and best practices for retail, loyalty and integration implementation.
Collaborate with various teams for success systems implementation and operations; and adhere to enterprise architecture standards and governance.
Monitor and ensure implementation of solution is according to the architectural design, assumptions, constraints set in the blueprint and other technical documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT professional within retail, marketing and loyalty functional area.
Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture using modern technology stacks.
Minimum 5 years of experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Involved in at least 1 to 2 end to end retail IT project execution, design and implementation. Non-retail project experience with good exposure is also considered.
Certified in TOGAF or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Certified with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP) is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud and microservices architectures.
Effective communication skills and be able to present technical concepts concisely.
Able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
