About Sunrya


We design, install & finance energy systems for hospitality & real estate brands in Hong Kong, Macau & the Mainland. 


Role: Software Engineer | Full Stack ~ R&D


Lead a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) for our patented energy system and support ongoing projects. You’ll bridge R&D and implementation, ensuring technical and project milestones are met on time and within scope.


Key Responsibilities:


• Energy Storage & EMS Development: Lead the design and development of software solutions for energy storage systems, real-time monitoring, and optimization algorithms.


• Research & Development: Innovate and advance Sunrya’s proprietary technologies, focusing on deploying patenting technologies in the field of load balancing and energy optimization.


• System Integration: Collaborate closely with project managers, systems engineers, vendors, end users, grid companies to integrate software.


• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Prepare detailed documentation, and whitepapers for developed

technologies. Share insights and contribute to the company’s knowledge base in energy technology.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM Degree from top 100 University.


• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar.


• Experience in mathematical modeling, algorithm development, and optimization techniques for energy systems.


• Familiarity with cloud computing, IoT integration, database management, and real-time data processing.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on innovative solutions in energy management and optimization.


• Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin (written and spoken).


• Legally allowed to work in Hong Kong.
