About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional with a strong focus on delivering programs to support exports, together with a detailed understanding of the global business environment as it relates to China and Victoria, Australia, to join the Victorian Government Trade & Investment (VGTI) network.
Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner, Greater China, this position will engage in a range of trade outreach, network connection and promotion activities and projects and play a key role in researching and identifying goods and services trade opportunities for Victoria across Hong Kong and Taiwan. In addition, the role will require identification and facilitation of foreign direct investment opportunities for Victoria in the region.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills to develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders across industries, while being proactive, creative, and solutions orientated to launch and deliver initiatives to achieve trade outcomes.
