Internal Product Development Summary

Purpose : Develop a software component for a domain control system on AWS and Azure for local and overseas teams.

Team Composition : 11 software developers based in Hong Kong.

Technical Skills Required :

• Programming Languages : JavaScript, Node.js, Java
• Experience :
  • 2-4 years in programming Java & JavaScript (C, C++, Go, Rust is benificial).
  • Connectivity protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, REST API, WebSocket).
  • Data structures (JSON, XML, YAML).
  • Industrial protocols (Modbus, IEC104, etc.) and message queues (ZeroMQ, MQTT) are advantages.
  • Cloud platforms (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker) and databases (MySQL, Redis) are beneficial.
• Language Proficiency : Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.

Development Approach :

• Initial focus on individual components, transitioning to broader skills for full-stack capabilities over time.

Frameworks and Tools : AWS, Azure, Stencil for front-end, Node.js and Java for back-end.
