Our client is looking for a Design Professional to join a listed manufacturer.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Product Design & Development:   Lead the creative process in developing clothing product designs, encompassing themes, color palettes, fabrications, styles, and fashion graphics.
• Fabric Sourcing and Development:   Identify and source seasonal fabrics that meet business requirements and enhance product offerings.
• Market Research and Trend Analysis:  Conduct thorough marketing research and fashion trend analysis to inform design decisions. Stay updated on evolving fashion trends and consumer needs.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Production and other related departments throughout the product lifecycle—from initial concept and planning to final production.
• Product Presentation Preparation:  Prepare comprehensive product presentation materials that effectively showcase the design concepts, fabric selections, and market positioning.
• Trend Acquisition and Business Development:  Actively acquire insights into the latest market trends and identify new business opportunities, particularly in international markets.
• Customer Relations Management:  Regularly visit customers to build and maintain strong relationships. Gather feedback on products and trends, ensuring customer needs are met.

  To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field.
• Experience in design, product development, manufacturing, or a related role.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in design software and tools.
• Base in HK, willing to travel occasionally.
• A creative and passionate person with good fashion sense and design knowledge.
• Good team player and able to work independently.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
