We are seeking a Senior Public Affairs Manager for the META region , specializing in Government Relations.


This role requires a solid understanding of emerging regulatory policy trends in the technology, data, and cybersecurity landscape. The ideal candidate should also be attuned to Kaspersky’s business objectives and challenges, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop practical and effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Government Affairs (GR) strategies across the META region.
  • Lead the GR function in the specified countries and represent the company at high-profile meetings with external stakeholders.
  • Support GR engagements for the business in other countries.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with political decision-makers on cybersecurity policy issues, including those in parliament, ministries, associations, and organizations.
  • Provide advice to Kaspersky management on policy issues.
  • Monitor relevant policies across markets and deliver data-driven analytical reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Shape the company’s external narrative on legislative initiatives in areas such as cybersecurity, IoT, Industry 4.0, critical infrastructure protection, data protection, and AI regulation, including drafting official submissions and policy papers.
  • Support the company’s involvement in forums and events, and foster relationships with public institutions, industry representatives, and partners to identify mutual interests and co-develop initiatives or solutions.
  • Apply strategies to advance the company’s thought leadership goals.
  • Advise the company on navigating regulations and global developments, managing trade-offs, and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate participation in major cybersecurity awareness initiatives and public-private collaboration projects.
  • Support management visits and high-level meetings. Represent the company’s positions during stakeholder meetings and public consultations.
  • Undertake any other duties and projects as reasonably assigned by the company.


Required Experience & Skills:

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in a technology company, think tank, public affairs consultancy, or government sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, international relations, information technology, or public policy; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills for coordinating multi-functional responses.
  • Effective collaboration in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Ability to interact and work cross-culturally with stakeholders across regions.
  • Excellent and persuasive writing skills.
  • Ability to apply expertise in cybersecurity and data policy to public affairs initiatives.
  • Fluent English.
