About The Job
Excellence in risk management is at the heart of business – and SAS is a global leader in this space. We’re looking for a Risk solutions seller to lead on direct sales of SAS Risk Management Solutions and services to prospective and current customers in Hong Kong with a strong weighting to financial services industry (esp. banking and insurance). In this role, you will provide expertise on products/ solutions and industry to identify, develop and close deals engaging with large corporate institutions.
A core part of SAS business is the provision of SAS Risk Management solutions. These solutions incorporate extensive business content, advanced analytics and reporting all from a common platform. SAS is consistently rated as a leading risk technology vendor, and has enjoyed rapid growth in its Risk business. Focus areas include Credit Risk Modeling & Decisioning, Stress Testing & Scenario Analysis, ESG, IFRS9, Model Risk Management, Regulatory Risk Management, Asset and Liability Management, and Insurance Risk Management. As a Senior Risk Solutions Seller, You Will
- Develop business in the Risk space in Hong Kong through building strong business relationship with client stakeholders including C-suite, uncovering business needs, initiating/ supporting go-to-market activities and integrating strategy into an overall account plan.
- Develop opportunities by managing and influencing requirements to gain competitive edge. Create and present sales proposals and systems solutions to successfully communicate the value of SAS risk solutions and services. Leverage support resources as appropriate.
- Fulfill wide range of requests for information from prospective and current customers.
- Understand SAS’ pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrix, and apply it to your work.
- Work with other sales professionals, pre-sales and executives to react quickly to highly qualified, high revenue potential leads.
- Provide a superior customer experience – we go the extra mile for our customers – and track customer satisfaction.
Role
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 8+ years' experience related to solution development in the financial risk management domain, or relevant experience gained from working in professional services.
- Ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities and to relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
- Advanced skills in analyzing and evaluating territory dynamics and developing sales plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of software acquisitions cycles and buying influences in financial services industry.
- Working knowledge of SAS Financial Risk Management Solutions products.
