Responsibilities:

• As Section Head-in-charge for promotions related to the Belt and Road Initiative
• To oversee promotional projects in ASEAN markets
• To build closer rapport and strategic alliances with key players in the service industry and trade associations through proactive liaison work 
• To identify innovative marketing channels and manage online platforms to create new business opportunities for Hong Kong service providers and cultivate prominent success stories 
• To spearhead and execute promotional activities in Hong Kong, the mainland and overseas while managing the budgets
• To provide secretariat services to high-level committees 
• To effectively lead a team and provide proper guidance to team members for implementing service promotional programme
• To supervise day-to-day operations, including management reporting, finance, administrative and HR-related matters
   

Requirements:

• University graduate with a minimum of 8 years’ solid managerial experience, preferably with sizable organisations in the public sector, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations etc. 
• Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong 
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; knowledge of a third language an advantage 
• Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing, communication and external relations 
• A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills 
• Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability 
• Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
   

  Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
