Summary: The Client Account Specialist is accountable for comprehensive client billing support and assisting Client Account Managers and Supervisors. Duties include:
Responsibilities:
Handle all billing tasks for assigned attorneys, including distribution, logging, preparation, processing, and mailing.
Respond promptly and accurately to billing inquiries from attorneys, clients, and staff.
Mentor and train new billing attorneys as needed.
Maintain and update the client and matter database.
Investigate and resolve inquiries regarding previous and current billing.
Input Financial Arrangements into the accounting system.
Process electronically billed invoices.
Organize and prepare past month’s billing for scanning.
Analyze engagement letters relating to special financial agreements.
Implement special fee and cost structures.
Complete other assigned tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Excel capabilities.
Experience in full-cycle billing within a legal environment.
Fundamental understanding of accounting concepts.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with excellent communication abilities.
Desirable:
2+ years of relevant experience in billing and client management.
Bachelor’s degree.
Prior experience in a law firm.
Experience with 3E and electronic billing processes.
Proficient in 10-key data entry.

Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
