About the Job

As an Analyst Programmer (Frontend) in Choco Up, you will be part of the growing development team to build our market leading fintech and growth products that help digital merchants in Asia boost business growth. You will be based in Hong Kong and work closely with the Product and Development team in Hong Kong and Singapore.

If you are passionate about building products from scratch to delivery in a dynamic startup environment, you will find excitement and empowerment here in our team.

Products you may work on include dashboards and business intelligence, digital wallet, global payments, global business banking, corporate cards, data integrations, data analytics (AI/ML), etc.

What will you do

• Responsible for web frontend development and implement of deliverables according to specifications in a product-based development environment
• Gather and analyze users’ requirements and implement to application features accordingly
• Responsible for maintaining and deploying user interface component library, implement internal and external APIs, develop web user interfaces, and deploy to cloud hosting
• Work closely with teams of 6 - 7 developers and provide guidance to junior developers

We are looking for people who possess

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of experience in React, TypeScript
• Experience in Cloud Service Providers is highly advantageous
• Understanding of Agile software delivery and DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
• Understanding of design patterns for Application, Microservices, Data, Infrastructure and Integration
• Creative, Self-motivated, Initiative, Well-organized, Details-oriented and able to work under pressure
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
