Our client, a globally recognized company based in the US, is urgently seeking a candidate located in Hong Kong/China Dongguan.


Position Overview: The Finance Director will serve as a key business partner to three critical functions: Sourcing and Supply Chain, New Product Development, and New Product Delivery. While supporting all three areas, the majority of this role will focus on providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to the Sourcing and Supply Chain operations in Dongguan. The Finance Director will drive financial planning and analysis, optimize cost management, ensure alignment with business goals, and oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the respective areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis for sourcing and supply chain operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Cost Management:
  • Monitor and analyze costs related to sourcing, supply chain, and new products.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve cost reduction targets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost performance.
  • Business Partnering:
  • Act as the main financial business partner to the General Manager of Sourcing and Supply Chain, as well as provide financial support to the General Managers of New Product Development and New Product Delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Provide financial support for sourcing and supply chain projects and initiatives.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct financial reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the department.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably with experience in sourcing and supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of managing financial planning and analysis for complex operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
