Responsibilities:

I. Product Strategy Definition

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sourcing, operations, sales) to define product visions and objectives for diverse food commodities.

II. Market Insights and Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities in global and regional food markets.
  • Collect, analyze sales, inventory, and customer data to evaluate product performance and track market trends. Present findings to inform decision-making, refine marketing strategies, and guide product development.

III. Marketing

  • Devise and implement promotional strategies customized to the unique features of each food commodity.
  • Assist in organizing trade shows, tastings, product demos, and other promotional events to showcase the quality and variety of food products.
  • Manage ad hoc projects with other teams to achieve business goals.

IV. Branding and Content Creation

  • Create compelling product descriptions, visuals, and short videos that accurately communicate the quality, origin, and value of food commodities.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content to maintain consistent branding.

V. Customer Engagement and Feedback Utilization

  • Monitor customer feedback and optimize online product presentations to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
  • Gather feedback on product quality and availability, and escalate insights for continuous product improvement and generation of new product ideas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Food Science, or related disciplines.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in food trading, distribution, or related industries is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and basic design tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Proven ability to work well in cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Capable of balancing multiple projects while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Flexible to travel to Mainland China or overseas as required for supplier visits, trade shows, and market research.
