Process improvement: work closely with the BAU team to analyse current financial closing process and systems, identify the areas for improvement in terms of efficiency and accuracy.
Automation: To, or to collaborate with IT to, build templates by using various automation tools (e.g. Alteryx) that enable FR team users to prepare various deliverables (e.g. journal entries) effectively and efficiently without or with minimal human intervention.
Project management: To manage the overall timeline of planning, execution and implementation of the initiatives. To work closely with FR team to ensure the alignment of the requirement, UAT, implementation and post-implementation
Training and development: To prepare the training materials and conduct the knowledge transfer to FR team users regarding the new processes or tools.
Hands-on experience on automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Alteryx and ettc.)
CPA holder
At least 6 years of working experience
Familiar with IFRS Accounting standards. Knowledge in insurance and IFRS 17 is an advantage but not a must
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Good project and time management skills
Good communications and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of ownership of the tasks assigned
