SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus.It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage.English is used as the medium of instruction at the College. Applications are now invited for the following position: 

Senior College Administration Manager (24250023)

Assisting the Director of CIE, the appointee will be required to (i) lead the Academic Registry Services Section of CIE in the provision of overall effective academic programme administration and registry services including student recruitment and admission, student records and course registration, scheduling of classes, examination and graduation matters, support to teaching staff and quality assurance of the Associate Degree Programme; (ii) liaise, coordinate and work closely with various parties within CIE and SCE, and with other Offices of the University as well as external bodies ; (iii) serve as the secretary/member for various committees; (iv) provide secretariat support to a number of key committees; and (v) participate in College-wide and School-wide special projects.

Requirements:

Applicants should possess a higher degree plus at least 10 years of relevant administrative experience preferably at tertiary education setting. They should possess high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Putonghua. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills are required. 

The appointee will work on either/both the Kowloon Tong or/and Shatin Shek Mun campuses.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
